Join us on Minnesota’s North Shore, home to some of the darkest skies, for a hands-on Milky Way photography workshop during the new moon.
3-Day Workshop Schedule:
August 29, 6 – 10 PM: Meet & Greet + Night Photography Basics. Learn camera settings and techniques, then head to the shoreline for hands-on practice.
August 30, 5 PM – Midnight: Field Session. Capture a Lake Superior sunset, prep for night shots, and photograph the Milky Way’s galactic core.
August 31, 9 – 11 AM: Editing Session. Edit and share your best shots. Open presentation on night sky photography from 10–11 AM.
Small group editing session, conference room access, coffee & snacks included.
Who is this class for? All experience levels are welcome. A digital camera is required.

Weather Plan: If skies are cloudy, we’ll practice low-level lighting. If storms roll in, we’ll try to capture lightning!
